I just came back from the International Law Enforcement Training Conference in Chicago. There was a vendor there displaying different kinds of pepper spray. There was a wide variety of self defense applications and methods of delivery.

Often times people in the United States are unaware of the potential exposure to dangerous environments. That point was made clear during the terrible events of Boston Marathom Bombings.
We do live in a free country and enjoy ability to go more or less anywhere. The flip side of this ability is the simple reality that it is impossible to completely secure every possible location.

This was a wide ranging question and answer program dealing with security for general public and a whole list of related subjects. One option available for self defense use is pepper spray. The advantage of pepper spray is that it interferes with the bad guy’s vision and breathing. Therefore it gives you an opportunuty to get away.
