One critical point to understand when it comes to self defense is that under stressful conditions people are incapable of performing complicated tasks.
In other words, all self defense techniques have to be simple in order to work.
No fancy steps at all.

Women are especially vulnarable to assaults. There is a perception that because as a general rule men are physically stronger, women are incapable of defending themselves.
That perception is wrong. Self defense is not about the muscle. It is about understanding what to do.
