People often misunderstand the true meaning of self defense. They believe that when something goes wrong, the police will magically show up and protect them. Unfortunately it does not work that way at all. Police shows up after the damage is done. In all fairness, they have no advance knowledge of the events and it takes time to respond. In other words it is all up to you.
